mostly pictures taken with an ancient black and white quickcam that was just sitting around.
we had a quickcam in the imaging lab originally so we could keep an eye on the automated imaging system hardware while we weren't in the room with it. when i needed to install a printer on that system, the parallel-connected quickcam had to go.
the "new lab" images were taken with an original mac quickcam in 2002 after our main lab was re-configured. note that this was many years after the camera was made --- it was attached to the original mac that came with the imaging system shown in the "bright room" pictures, and which was replaced after about a year.
the office shot and the view from the fourth floor were taken by my officemate with our department's new digital camera, not long after moving into the new building in 2001. he also took some publicity shots of the imaging system hardware, which i should probably get a hold of sometime...
